Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records including H&P, discharge summaries, operative reports.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes.
• Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines and payer policies.
• Query physicians for documentation clarification when necessary.
• Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and quality benchmarks.
