Job summary

Citco Philippines is seeking a seasoned Financial Reporting professional to manage the preparation and coordination of financial statements and regulatory reporting under GAAP/IFRS. You will work with clients and auditors to ensure accurate disclosures and timely submissions.

Based in Makati, Alabang, or Clark, the role offers a hybrid schedule with 2–3 onsite days each week, providing opportunities to lead engagements and develop expertise within a global asset-servicing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 4 years of external audit experience, preferably in asset management, or relevant financial reporting experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team-led experience with client coordination responsibilities.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, asset management, hedge funds, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements in GAAP or IFRS, as required.
• Coordinate assigned engagements including planning, budgeting, client coordination, work allocation, and timelines.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of footnote disclosures and regulatory disclosures.
• Lead coordination with internal teams, clients and external auditors; support year-end financial statement process.
• Lead preparation and review of regulatory reports and coordination with teams for timely submissions.
• Identify errors or problems, investigate and propose solutions.
• Prepare engagement reports and ad hoc client reports; attend meetings and trainings to share updates.
• Recognize opportunities for new clients and value-added service enhancements; assist with proposals.
• Provide guidance to team members to strengthen knowledge areas.
