MicroSourcing is seeking a Data Scientist to transform operational, commercial, financial, and customer data into actionable insights that support better route density, pricing, service reliability, and customer retention. You will build dashboards, validate data, and deliver KPI reporting to executives and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Math, CS, Engineering, Economics, OR).
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, data science, or decision support.
• Strong SQL and Python or R for analysis, manipulation, and modeling.
• Proficient in data visualization/reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to clean and reconcile imperfect data and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to collaborate during U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Transform data from routing, dispatch, CRM, billing, accounting, telematics and more into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI reporting for executives and operations.
• Analyze route profitability, density, drive time, pricing realization, and operational exceptions.
• Build forecasting, segmentation, optimization, and anomaly-detection models.
• Map legacy datasets for integrations and establish standardized metrics across acquisitions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Compliance and IT.
