Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Data Scientist for its Global One, Eastwood, Quezon City location, offering hybrid work with a night shift. The role focuses on turning diverse data into actionable insights that drive route efficiency, pricing, service reliability, and customer retention.

You will build dashboards, models, and reports while collaborating with Operations, Finance, Sales, and IT to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI, data science, or decision support.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, data manipulation, and modeling.
• Practical experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to clean, validate, and reconcile imperfect operational datasets and communicate analytical findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively during U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into actionable insights to improve route density, pricing, service reliability, retention, utilization, and growth.
• Integrate data from routing, dispatch, CRM, billing, accounting, telematics, facilities, safety, and customer service systems.
• Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI reporting for executives and operations teams.
• Analyze route profitability, stop density, drive time, service frequency, and pricing realization.
• Build forecasting, segmentation, optimization, and anomaly-detection models to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Compliance, and IT to translate questions into analytics.
• Create reproducible datasets, SQL queries, data quality checks, documentation, and version-controlled code.
• Present findings with actionable recommendations and potential impact.
