Job summary

L.E.K. Consulting in Boston is seeking an Associate Data & Automation to join the Data & AI Enablement team. The role focuses on automating business and IT processes, building data pipelines, and deploying internal web apps and APIs on Azure.

You will work with senior engineers across Azure services, PowerShell, Python, SQL, and Git, contributing to repeatable solutions, dashboards, and AI/ML data preparation. This is an early-career position offering hands-on learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• Strong PowerShell and Python scripting for automation.
• Proficient SQL querying, transforming and validating datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain PowerShell and Python scripts to automate IT and business processes.
• Develop, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows with Azure Data Factory, Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Operate data pipelines that ingest, cleanse, refine, and enrich data for Power BI and AI/ML datasets.
• Support data storage across Azure Blob Storage, OneLake, and Microsoft Fabric lakehouses.
• Deploy and support internal web apps and REST APIs on Azure.
• Monitor jobs and pipelines; investigate issues and escalate complex problems.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable work.
• Collaborate with Data Platform, AI Enablement, and Analytics teams to translate requirements into solutions.
