Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Data DevOps to drive the reliability and evolution of the Azure data platform through automation and monitoring. You will implement infrastructure updates, build self-healing capabilities, and partner with Architecture and SRE on performance and access controls across environments.

You will collaborate with multinational teams on ambitious data projects, delivering scalable solutions and ensuring robust data workloads performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Terraform and Azure DevOps in multiple subscriptions and environments.
• Proficiency with Azure data solutions such as Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and ADF.
• Experience with Synapse Analytics for performance improvements, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Requirements

• Proven track record with 5+ years of hands-on work using advanced Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines across multiple subscriptions and environments
• Solid knowledge of Azure data solutions such as Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and ADF
• Practical familiarity with Synapse Analytics for data workloads performance improvements, monitoring, and issues troubleshooting
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated expertise in solutioning and collaborating with Architecture teams on platform design standards
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
