Job summary

Insight is a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator focused on cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity and intelligent edge. The Platform Engineer builds and maintains the foundational Azure infrastructure that the AI Development team relies on to create, deploy, and operate AI-powered applications.

You will design secure, scalable environments, provision IaC, and enable reliable development workspaces, data pipelines and production services while collaborating in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a platform/cloud/infrastructure role.
• Hands-on Azure experience (App Services, Functions, AKS, VNET, Entra ID, Key Vault).
• Proficient with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates for IaC.
• Experience integrating data platforms (e.g., Databricks) and cloud data services.
• Solid cloud security knowledge, identity management and network security.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or App Insights.
• Strong English communication; comfortable in Agile teams.
• Nice to have: GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using IaC.
• Build and maintain shared platform services: networking, Entra, Key Vaults, registries, monitoring.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance policies.
• Support developers with environment configuration and cloud service integration.
• Monitor infrastructure health, costs and performance; set up alerts and auto-scaling.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture and runbooks.
