Job summary

IPC E&C Philippines Corp. in Makati invites an experienced accountant to oversee financial accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting for EPC/construction projects in the Philippines.

The role focuses on managing AP/AR by milestones, closing routines, and preparing financial statements for the Board, while coordinating with a third-party tax service provider for BIR returns and audits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years in accounting, EPC/Construction/Energy projects preferred.
• Tax knowledge: Philippine tax laws (NIRC, TRAIN), BIR eFPS/eBIRForms, DST & WHT.
• Software: SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced MS Excel.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices, subcontractor progress billing, and capital construction payments before disbursement.
• Prepare and issue commercial invoices and Official Receipts.
• Maintain books per PFRS and manage AP/AR by project milestones.
• Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closures and prepare financial statements for the Board.
• Archive source documents and payroll records for BIR audits.
• Coordinate with tax service provider for BIR statutory returns and DST settlements.
• Liaise with BIR during audits and open cases.
