Job summary

GoTeam is seeking a Construction Estimator to own bid numbers for a growing portfolio of projects. You will work from drawings to final estimates, collaborating with PMs, engineers, and vendors to ensure accurate, competitive proposals.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, practical use of estimating software, and adherence to procurement processes aligned with client requirements. Onsite training and hybrid work after the initial period are provided.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and MS Excel for cost calculations
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specs, and documentation to prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
• Perform quantity take-offs to support estimate accuracy
• Conduct detailed cost analysis covering direct and indirect construction expenses
• Prepare comprehensive, competitive bids and proposals aligned to project specs and client requirements
