Job summary

CodeRound is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure on AWS and manage on‑premise servers. You will deploy scalable systems, automate provisioning, and maintain end-to-end deployment workflows across cloud and on-site environments.

You will set up CI/CD pipelines with popular tools, manage Linux-based servers, and implement monitoring and disaster recovery plans. This role emphasizes collaboration with development teams to improve reliability and delivery speed.

Qualifications

2–4 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS) and on-premise server management.
Proficient in deploying scalable systems, automation, and cross-environment deployments.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, etc.).
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Install, configure, and maintain physical servers (Linux-based) in on-prem environments.
Handle network setup, firewall rules, and server monitoring.
Use Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Work with Docker and basic Kubernetes deployment setups.
Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
Perform routine server maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting (disk, CPU, RAM, RAID).
Ensure data backup, high availability, and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows.
