Job summary

CodeRound is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure on AWS and manage on‑premise servers. You will deploy scalable systems, automate provisioning, and maintain end-to-end deployment workflows across cloud and on-site environments.

You will set up CI/CD pipelines with popular tools, manage Linux-based servers, and implement monitoring and disaster recovery plans. This role emphasizes collaboration with development teams to improve reliability and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS) and on-premise server management.
• Proficient in deploying scalable systems, automation, and cross-environment deployments.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, etc.).
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Install, configure, and maintain physical servers (Linux-based) in on-prem environments.
• Handle network setup, firewall rules, and server monitoring.
• Use Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Work with Docker and basic Kubernetes deployment setups.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Perform routine server maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting (disk, CPU, RAM, RAID).
• Ensure data backup, high availability, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows.
