You will own production reliability, incident response, and continuous improvement for performance and scalability. You will operate Kubernetes clusters, manage Docker workloads, and configure AWS services, with CI/CD pipelines and robust monitoring/observability as core responsibilities.

Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for managing and scaling a hybrid infrastructure environment across cloud and on-premise systems. This role requires strong ownership of production systems, incident response, and continuous improvement of system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Management

1. Manage and maintain hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-premise)
2. Operate Kubernetes clusters and NGINX ingress controllers
3. Maintain and optimize Docker-based workloads and services

Cloud & Networking

1. Manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, and ACM
2. Configure and optimize NGINX (reverse proxy, SSL, buffering, routing)
3. Troubleshoot and optimize CDN performance (e.g., Cloudfront, Cloudflare, object storage CDNs)

CI/CD & Automation

1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
2. Automate deployments, rollbacks, and environment provisioning
3. Manage secrets and environment configurations securely

Observability & Monitoring

1. Design and maintain monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki)
2. Implement alerting and logging strategies for production systems
3. Investigate anomalies and performance bottlenecks

Storage & Data Systems

1. Manage S3-compatible object storage systems
2. Troubleshoot replication, checksum, and data integrity issues
3. Optimize storage usage and data transfer performance

   Incident Management & RCA

   1. Lead incident response and production troubleshooting
   2. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
   3. Ensure system uptime, reliability, and SLA adherence

   Scaling & Performance

   1. Plan and execute infrastructure scaling (auto-scaling, load balancing)
   2. Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization
   3. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack
