Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. is hiring a Cloud Middleware Delivery Engineer in Makati. You will build and deliver OCI-based banking environments, implement IaC, and deploy middleware with Kubernetes/OpenShift. You will collaborate with architecture, automation, and Run/Operations teams to ensure production-ready platforms.

The role emphasizes security, performance, and operational readiness, with a hybrid work model and close coordination across APAC & UK regions.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong Linux knowledge (Windows is a plus).
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms and containerized workloads.
Experience with J2EE application servers (JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat).
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
Knowledge of secure data transfer (SFTP), SSL, and certificate management.

Responsibilities

Build and deliver cloud-based Avaloq banking environments on OCI.
Implement IaC with Terraform-based workflows.
Install, configure, and deploy middleware and app servers (JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat).
Deploy containerized middleware workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Ensure environments are automated, secure, and production-ready.
