Cognizant in Cebu City seeks a Subject Matter Expert in Accounts Receivable to lead end-to-end order-to-cash operations in a multinational environment. The role focuses on accurate receivables processing, disciplined credit and collections, and strong customer account hygiene within a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities include invoicing, cash application, reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies to optimize cash flow, collaborating with sales, customer service, and finance.

Formación

• Experience in accounts receivable operations with invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Structured follow-up, dispute resolution, and negotiation to improve payment behavior.
• Understanding of order to cash processes including invoicing and billing accuracy.
• Knowledge of OTC workflows and coordination of order review, billing, and fulfillment.
• Proficiency with finance systems and reporting tools for aging, logs, and dashboards.

Responsabilidades

• Drive end-to-end AR activities: invoicing, cash application, reconciliation to maintain accurate customer balances.
• Manage collections by prioritizing overdue accounts and negotiating payment arrangements.
• Coordinate OTC workflows, validate orders, ensure timely billing, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed customer account analysis, aging, and risk exposure; propose actions to reduce past due amounts.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance to resolve order, billing, and collection issues.
• Apply standardized credit and collection policies and document decisions for audit readiness.
• Use ERP/finance systems to process transactions, monitor open items, and generate OTC reports.
• Identify process bottlenecks in collections and order management; suggest improvements.
• Handle customer queries regarding invoices, payment status, and account statements.
