Job summary

MainframeMaster is looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer in Manila, Philippines. This role involves maintaining and providing technical support for applications in daily operations, alongside ***troubleshooting** issues and collaborating with various teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with distributed systems, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and must be willing to work a THU-MON shift. Competitive compensation and flexible working days are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Candidates must be willing to work THU - MON shift.
• Familiarity with relational databases like DB2 and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Resolve critical production issues by leading Major Incident calls.
• Troubleshoot and debug system component(s) in regulated environments.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve application issues.

Skills

Hands on experience in distributed systems like Unix

Mainframe troubleshooting and support skills

Proven experience with ETL tools

Education

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

Tools

SQL/PLSQL

Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
