Job summary

Mitti by SafetyCulture is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time across Manila, with hybrid office presence. You will manage vendor records, expense pay runs, and support month-end close while leveraging AI tools to improve AP efficiency.

Based in Manila, you will collaborate with the AP team in Australia and other parts of the Mitti Group, applying high-volume AP skills in a SaaS environment and delivering timely payments in a dynamic tech

Qualifications

• Accurate invoice coding and matching across entities and currencies.
• Understanding of AP controls including vendor validation and approvals.
• Ability to reconcile credit card and expense data to the general ledger.
• Familiarity with Zip, NetSuite, Navan or Intercom; training provided.
• Clear written English for supplier/stakeholder communication.
• Proven track record of high-volume, deadline-driven AP processing in SaaS or fast-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices in Zip from intake to approval to ensure accuracy and turnaround times.
• Assist in weekly AP payment run and employee expense pay run; back up for AP Manager payments.
• Review employee expense reports against policy and provide feedback for non-compliance.
• Contribute to AP inbox in Intercom to resolve supplier and internal queries.
• Keep supplier records in NetSuite accurate; onboard new vendors and tidy records.
• Support month-end close with credit card reconciliations and other AP tasks.
• Support FP&A AP payables review and flag trends or risks.
• Look for ways to improve AP processes using AI and automation, and propose changes.
