Qualifications

Responsibilities

We need an HVAC Drafter to turn engineering concepts into clear, precise working plans. You will work with engineers, project managers, and builders to make sure HVAC layouts fit inside buildings and follow safety rules.

WE WILL REQUEST A PORTFOLIO OR SAMPLE PROJECT(S) FOR THE SCREENING PROCESS
Key Responsibilities For This Role
  • Make 2D and 3D shop drawings, coordination layouts, and fabrication plans for ductwork, piping, and equipment.
  • Coordinate Systems: Match HVAC layouts with architectural, electrical, and plumbing plans to avoid clashes.
  • Update Drawings: Revise blueprints based on field changes, site checks, and engineer notes.
  • Prepare Documents: Help create material lists, equipment schedules, and final as-built drawings when projects finish.
  • Check Standards: Make sure all designs follow local building codes and industry rules like ASHRAE.
Job Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient.
  • Strong and verifiable engineering/architectural background and experience.
  • Knowledge in Design Software tools: such as AutoCAD, Revit and Lumion.
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on mechanical drafting or HVAC design work.
  • Software Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with 3D tools like Revit or BIM.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good grasp of HVAC parts, duct sizing, and piping routes.
  • Education: Associate degree, technical certificate, or diploma in drafting, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Strong focus on small details, clear communication, and teamwork.
  • Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches.
  • Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload.
  • Experience and proficiency in drafting, and also using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit for drawings, is required.
