We are looking for a proactive and dependable HR Generalist / HR Officer who can support the day-to-day human resource requirements of a growing automotive and retail organization.
The role will primarily handle recruitment, employee relations, HR documentation, policy implementation, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working independently, and able to coordinate effectively with employees and department managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordination, and onboarding of new hires
- Coordinate with department managers for manpower requirements and hiring needs
- Maintain and update applicant tracking records and recruitment documentation
- Facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and pre-employment requirements
- Maintain and organize employee 201 files and HR records
- Process, monitor, and ensure accuracy of employee documents, reports, and HR files
- Handle general HR administrative tasks and documentation
- Address employee concerns related to company policies, benefits, and workplace issues
- Assist in handling employee relations cases, including documentation of disciplinary actions, incidents, and notices
- Coordinate with managers in resolving employee concerns and HR-related issues
- Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with company rules and Philippine labor laws
- Support documentation and handling of employee cases, investigations, and compliance requirements
- Assist management in labor-related concerns when needed
- Support performance management activities and employee evaluations
- Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs and KRAs across departments
- Coordinate with managers in tracking employee performance and requirements
- Assist in employee engagement activities and company events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Officer, Recruitment, or Employee Relations role.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment and candidate sourcing using job boards, social media, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Experience maintaining 201 files, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Basic to good understanding of Philippine labor laws, employee relations, and disciplinary documentation.
- Experience assisting with KPI/KRA development or performance management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, HR databases, or employee monitoring systems is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to handle confidential employee information professionally.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while coordinating effectively with managers and employees.
- Experience in automotive, retail, distribution, dealership, manufacturing, or similar operational environments is an advantage.
- BOSH certification is an advantage but not required.
- Willing to work on-site and travel occasionally when required.
