Job summary

Colas Rail APAC is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment professional to promote, lead and monitor the QSE approach in line with the Group's Safety value and directives. You will support unit managers, oversee audits, assist in risk analysis, organize training, and help ensure regulatory compliance across operations.

This role emphasizes cross-audit controls, risk mitigation, and reporting on QSE performance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2–3 years of experience with specialization in Health, Safety and Environment

Responsibilities

• Supports operational unit managers in assessing risks, drawing up and monitoring the action plan, monitoring regulatory compliance.
• Supervises audit or inspection processes to monitor compliance with established quality standards.
• Supports Works or Industries staff: helps with risk analysis, project preparation and QSE point organization.
• Ensures controls: carries out cross-audits for the Group and subsidiary, audits for the scope.
• Ensures monitoring: advises on processing audits and applies Group directives, alerts on malfunctions.
• Manages training: assists training and operations in identifying training needs and conducts awareness sessions.
• Supports purchasing: reports malfunctions in framework agreements and advises on protective equipment.

Is responsible for promoting, leading and monitoring the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment approach in line with the Group's primary value, Safety, and related policies.

Main Responsibilities

• Supports operational unit managers in assessing risks, drawing up and monitoring the action plan, monitoring and checking regulatory compliance, monitoring indicators, processing relevant external requests (local residents, administrations, etc.).
• Supervises audit or inspection processes meant to monitor compliance with established quality standards
• Supports the Works or Industries operational staff: helps with risk analysis (jobs, projects, industries, quarries, etc.), helps in the organization and preparation of starters and QSE point, etc.
• Ensures controls: performs cross-audits for the Group, the subsidiary, carries out audits for his/her scope, etc.
• Ensures monitoring: advises and monitors the processing of these audits carried out in his/her area, ensures the application of the Group's directives, alerts in the event of malfunctions, etc.
• Manages training: assists the training and operations department in identifying training requirements, conducts awareness sessions, etc.
• Supports purchasing: ensures the reporting of malfunctions in framework agreements, advises on the choice of protective equipment, etc.
