Job summary

SAN MIGUEL GLOBAL POWER HOLDINGS CORP. is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineer to lead the project-wide HSE program for hydro power projects.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, audits, incident management, and training to foster a robust safety culture among all personnel, including contractors. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Environmental/Occupational Safety & Health Engineering degree with 3–5 years’ experience and relevant DOLE-accredited safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health Engineering.
• At least 3-5 work experience and a Certified safety professional with accreditation from relevant local authorities (e.g., DOLE in the Philippines).
• With BOSH and Construction Safety and Health (CSH) and First Aid and Basic Life Support certification.
• Significant experience as an HSE Manager on large-scale construction projects, preferably in heavy civil or power generation, and with experience in emergency response planning
• Expert knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental laws and standards
• Willing to be assigned to any site location.
