The Human Resource Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s workforce strategy by managing key HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations,
performance management, and compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring that HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and aligned with labor laws and company standards.
Working closely with department heads and employees, the HR Specialist facilitates hiring and onboarding processes, maintains accurate employee records, assists in training
and development initiatives, and supports workplace culture and engagement. The
role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a solid
understanding of HR best practices to help foster a productive and compliant
work environment.
- Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Management Oversee the full spectrum of HR processes including recruitment, selection, hiring, endorsement for final interviews, training and development, performance evaluation, transfer, promotion, termination, and retirement. Prepare job descriptions, advertise vacancies, and manage the employment process.
- Employee Ranking & Promotion Participate in the evaluation and promotion process for both administrative staff and workers, ensuring fairness and alignment with company standards.
- Employee Relations Serve as a liaison between management and employees, fostering open communication and resolving workplace concerns.
- Policy Implementation Execute action plans in accordance with the Institutional Area Procedure Manual and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Personnel Development Formulate strategies to support the professional growth and continuous improvement of employees.
- Benefits Administration Ensure employees receive all statutory and company-provided benefits, including assistance with bank loan applications.
- Labor Law Compliance Continuously research and apply relevant provisions of the Philippine Labor Code to protect employee rights and promote compliance.
- Policy Review & Recommendations Advise management on necessary updates or revisions to the Employee Manual and company policies.
- Regulatory Alignment Ensure all HR actions and plans comply with existing company rules and government regulations.
- Medical Clinic Support Coordinate requisitions for medicines and medical supplies to maintain clinic operations.
- Employee Orientation Conduct onboarding sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, organizational culture, and expectations.
- Compensation & Payroll Coordination Oversee payroll and benefits administration, validate timesheets, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Statutory Contributions Prepare and file mandatory government contributions including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
- Performance Management Monitor employee performance and manage the appraisal process to support career development and organizational goals.
- Records Management Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data protection standards.
- Organizational Development Support Assist in structuring the organization, defining job roles, and establishing employee hierarchy.
- Policy Development Support management in crafting policies that comply with labor laws, occupational safety standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Other Duties Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
