Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–8 years HR experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution industries is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel to factories in Mindanao periodically.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies and processes to support a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Lead manpower planning and provide workforce recommendations.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
  • Manage performance management and appraisal systems.
  • Oversee probationary evaluations and regularization.
  • Oversee salary, compensation and benefits programs.
  • Implement merit-based salary increases and bonus programs.
  • Identify training needs and oversee learning and development.
  • Lead succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Develop employee engagement and wellness programs.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary processes.
  • Support organizational development, workforce restructuring, and change management initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and KPIs; visit factory locations to ensure HR ops.
  • Supervise HR and Admin staff at Head Office and factories.
  • Advise Management on HR, labor, and workforce matters.

About the role

To lead Human Resources and General Services functions. Responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, overseeing talent acquisition and employee relations, and managing office administration to support efficient business operations.

Key responsibilities
Human Resources
  • Develop, implement, review, and improve HR policies, procedures, systems, and best practices to support a positive workplace culture and overall business performance.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and Company policies.

  • Lead manpower planning and provide workforce recommendations to Management.

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding of employees.

  • Implement and continuously improve the Company's performance management and appraisal system.

  • Oversee probationary employee evaluations and regularization.

  • Manage the Company's salary, compensation and recommend improvements to benefit programs.

  • Implement annual merit-based salary increases and performance bonus programs.

  • Identify training and development needs and oversee employee learning and development programs.

  • Lead succession planning and career development initiatives.

  • Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, recognition, and wellness programs.

  • Handle employee complaints, grievances, disputes, and conflict resolution.

  • Oversee employee disciplinary processes and ensure proper due process.

  • Support organizational development, workforce restructuring, and change management initiatives.

  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, workforce statistics, and key HR performance indicators.

  • Conduct periodic visits to factory locations to ensure smooth and consistent HR operations.

  • Exercise functional supervision and control over HR and Administration personnel at Head Office and factories.

  • Advise Management on HR, labor, organizational, and workforce matters.

General Services
  • Oversee the Company's general office administration and support services.

  • Ensure the availability of office supplies, telephone services, internet access, and other administrative requirements.

  • Ensure office furniture, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and in good working condition.

  • Oversee and ensure the timely maintenance, repair, and upkeep of office facilities, equipment, and workplace infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with Building Management on utilities, maintenance, security, access control, and other building-related concerns.

  • Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and oversee the processing of insurance claims for company vehicles at Head Office and factories

  • Monitor administrative costs, service quality, and compliance with approved contracts and Company procedures.

  • Establish and maintain controls over Company property, office equipment, supplies, and other administrative assets.

  • Drive continuous improvement and automation of HR and administrative processes.

About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • At least 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in a managerial role

  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices

  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training

  • Proven leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution industries is an advantage
