The HR Business Partner Head is the strategic HR Partner (People & Culture) responsible for translating and implementing SHG's business target and/or objectives into a full HR (People) Initiatives anchored on the Company's 5C Imperatives - Compliance, Capability, Culture, Change and Career.
The role exists to partner directly with Brand or Business Unit Heads, Operations Leaders, Commissary and Corporate HO or Shared Services Leadership Teams to aid/drive workforce management & stability – attrition, attendance, voice-to-action, employee engagement and discipline, co-lead in the development of leadership and talent capability plan implementation and strengthen SHG's culture & ways of working across all business units and/or brands.
Lead and ensure disciplined execution of HR processes - end-to-end HRBP function for assigned brands/BU – manpower planning and requirements, onboarding, employee relations & engagement, performance management, talent development and management, to offboarding – positive exit experience.
Strengthen compliance readiness across all brands/stores and HO/shared services through SOP governance, and swift resolution of HR risks.
Partner with Operations to continuously improve productivity, attendance, and manpower planning requirement, ensuring stores/BU remain staffed and service ready.
Utilize people dashboard reports, complaint or feedback mechanism patterns or trends, to identify gaps and implement people-centric interventions or HR initiatives that elevate service quality – both internal customers and external/guest experience.
Build and lead a high-performing HRBP team with clear KPs, coaching plans and talent/succession pipeline.
Strengthen leadership capability of TLs and all Store Leaders through structured learning, coaching discipline, and performance management.
Implement talent pipeline initiatives – internal promotions, MT/Apprentice programs, through SHG Academy, LMS with both technical and soft skills certification pathways.
Drive engagement and retention initiatives using Listening Hi-way, eNPS (Engagement Score), Voice-to-Action and other targeted interventions on high-risk stores/teams.
Ensure an accurate people / workforce analytics – attrition, attendance, employee feedback, employee relations status reporting and eliminate discrepancies through strong governance.
Provide BU / Operations and Line Leaders with actionable analytics – attrition hotspots, attendance trends, recruitment/manning requirement efficiency, employee relations (ER) case patterns linked to operational KPIs.
20+ years of progressive HR leadership across multi-brand, multi-store, and fast-paced organizations, with strong employee engagement and people leadership experience.
Graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field, with SHRP and/or Organization Development certification/experience.
Strong business and financial acumen, with data-driven decision-making and executive business partnering skills.
Strong HR generalist expertise covering workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, labor compliance, talent management, and change management.
Proven experience in performance and capability development, including KPI/KRA alignment, Balanced Scorecard, TNA, leadership development, and succession planning.
Strong people analytics and HR systems capability, including attrition, attendance, productivity, and workforce trend analysis; proficient in Excel, HRIS, Power BI, and digital tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and execution discipline, with a grounded, accountable, empathetic, and resilient leadership style.
