Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Philippines seeks a specialist to develop programming expanding housing market systems in the Philippines. Based in Manila with field work, you will collaborate with market actors, government, homeowners and partners to expand affordable, durable housing solutions.

You will manage portfolios, lead formative action-research and support safeguarding, resilience, and sustainability across the country program. Filipino context knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for the role with advanced degrees a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and coordination skills are required.
• Experience in international development or housing sectors is desirable.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Supports housing market systems work using a market systems development approach.
• Manages portfolio, program and project delivery for market research and mapping.
• Supports MEAL for the portfolio and learning initiatives.
• Liaises with partners including government, private sector and financial institutions.
• Provides technical inputs on housing market products and services.
• Contributes to resilience-focused market systems learning and strategy.
• Assists in communications, strategy and sustainability planning for the program.
