The role supports the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing maintenance, repair, and system reliability improvements. The position involves routine inspections, assisting with installations, reviewing work orders, and ensuring energy efficiency while complying with safety codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Work with available systems to manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Report violations to Management.
• Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
