Job summary

SUMMIT HOTEL TACLOBAN in Tacloban, Eastern Visayas, Philippines is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Maintenance Department and ensure that hotel structures, systems, furbishing and equipment are reliably functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 3–5 years of hotel experience, and strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• University degree holder (preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
• 3 to 5 years of solid hotel experience.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance, construction, and related services, laws and building codes.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Maintenance Department to ensure hotel structures and systems are functional.
• Oversee furbishing and equipment to be aesthetically pleasing.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and contract maintenance standards.
