Job summary

Cevio Hotel Corporation is seeking a Chief Engineer to assume direct responsibility for maintenance and engineering operations across the hotel property. You will lead the engineering team, manage daily upkeep of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in hotel engineering or facilities management, hands-on expertise in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel engineering/facilities management (supervisory role preferred).
• Hands-on technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Relevant technical trade certifications or licenses.
• Residing in Tacloban or nearby areas; immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and safety systems.
• Supervise, train, and schedule the engineering team.
• Execute routine maintenance for guest rooms and facilities.
• Maintain health, fire, and safety standards (OSHA/local building codes).
• Serve as the primary contact for technical breakdowns and urgent repairs.
