InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to oversee all hotel facilities, plant equipment, and building systems in the Philippines. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manage budgets and contracts, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

You will lead a team, develop talents, coordinate with other departments, and liaise with regulators and partners to deliver

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
PME license or equivalent professional certification.
5+ years of progressive engineering leadership, preferably in hospitality.
Strong knowledge of hotel building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, boilers, elevators, fire life safety.
Experience in preventive maintenance planning, project management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience managing contractors, vendors, and technical service providers.
Hotel openings, renovations, or major projects are an advantage.
Professional licenses as required by law.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety and environmental standards, and company policies.
Prepare and manage engineering budgets, CAPEX plans, energy initiatives, and maintenance contracts.
Manage third-party contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Respond to operational challenges and emergencies with minimal guest disruption.
Develop, coach, and motivate the Engineering team to meet hotel objectives.
Collaborate with departments to support operational excellence, sustainability, and property improvement projects.
