Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair is required.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.
• Able to manage time well and complete tasks promptly.
• Willing to stay or relocate to El Nido and work with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, equipment, and hostel facilities.
• Handle minor repairs immediately and report major issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance tools, storage areas, and equipment.
• Assist in the upkeep of outdoor areas including pathways, signage, and grounds.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of water systems, lighting, and ventilation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
• Support general hostel operations when needed (e.g., moving furniture, replacing fixtures).
