Job description

Overview

1. Oversee the overall day to day business operation of the cooperative by providing general direction, supervision, management and administrative control over all the operating department subject to such limitations as may be set forth by the Board of Directors or the General Assembly;

Responsibilities
  1. Formulate and recommend in coordination with the operating departments under your supervision, the Cooperative's annual and medium-term development plan, programs and projects for approval of the Board of Directors and ratification of the General Assembly;
  2. Implement the duly approved plans and programs of the cooperative and in any directive or instruction of the Board of Directors;
  3. Provide and submit to the Board of Directors monthly reports of the status of the cooperative's vis-a-vis its target and recommend appropriate policy or operational changes if necessary;
  4. Represent the cooperative in any agreement, contract, business dealings and in any other official business transactions as may be authorized by the Board of Directors.
  5. Ensures compliance with all administrative and other requirements of regulatory bodies and;
  6. Perform such other functions as may be prescribed in Bylaws or authorized by the General Assembly;
  7. Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the hospital to ensure its efficient adequate, competent and affordable medical services;
  8. Render consultation services in the identification, development and implementation of sound business policies and strategies;
  9. Oversee and review payroll administration and coordinate with Accounting Department for a smooth and cost-effective operation;
  10. Implement sound and cost-effective business policies as directed by the Board of Directors.
  11. Advise and assist in adopting policies affecting compensation packages and benefits.
  12. Recommend policies and strategies for the improvement of the hospital's personnel policies and practices.
  13. Plan, organize, direct, controls or coordinate personnel, training, or labor related activities of the hospital.
  14. Update hospital personnel, medical or otherwise, of information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employees' benefits.
  15. Foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communications.
  16. Implement discipline, proper decorum and professional etiquette embodied in the employee's handbook and impose sanctions against erring employees as directed by the board of Directors.
  17. Conduct regular meetings with staff and attend meetings with the board of Directors when invited.
  18. Execute and carry out policies, rules and regulations formulated by the Board of Directors For the effective operational services of the hospital.
  19. Ensures that quality standard operating procedures are carried out and echoed throughout the hospital.
  20. Physically report for work at the Metro Rizal Doctors Hospital and Health Services Cooperative Hospital on working office day or as often as may be required as the need arises.
Qualifications
  • Must have Masters in Hospital Administration, Hospital Management or any equivalent.
  • With at least 5 years and above experience as Hospital Administrator
  • Willing to work in Cainta Rizal
