Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Finance Manager to join a growing, ISO-certified offshore outsourcing group. You will report to the CFO, handling accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations and management reporting for a multi-clinic group.

You will contribute to financial analysis, due diligence for acquisitions, and the development of scalable finance processes, with a focus on automation and technology.

Qualifications

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong accounting and financial fundamentals.
• Experience in an accounting firm, audit or transaction services.
• Commercial finance experience as Finance Manager or similar.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and controls.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to switch between detailed work and high-level analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interest in technology, AI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Assist and eventually own Finance Operations under the CFO guidance.
• Process accounts payable and supplier management using Airwallex.
• Process payments and payroll across clinics and corporate teams.
• Bank reconciliations and onboarding of employees/clnics into finance systems.
• Support month-end, journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with acquisitions due diligence and valuation models.
• Develop and improve financial models and reporting templates.
• Collaborate with clinic teams to resolve finance and payroll matters.
• Support AI and automation initiatives in finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations

Working closely with the CFO, you will initially assist with and progressively take ownership of:

• Accounts payable processing and supplier management using Airwallex.

• Preparing and processing payments through Airwallex and banking platforms within delegated authority limits.

• Payroll processing across the group's clinics and corporate team.

• Employee expense claims and reimbursements.

• Bank reconciliations, including reconciliation of clinic revenue receipts and operating expenditure.

• Credit card issuance, administration and reconciliation.

• Employee and clinic finance onboarding.

• Maintaining accurate finance records and supporting appropriate financial controls.

• Other day-to-day finance and administrative activities required as the group scales.

Month-End & Financial Reporting

You will work closely with the CFO on the group's month-end process, including:

• Preparing month-end workpapers and reconciliations.

• Assisting with journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Reviewing clinic financial performance and investigating variances.

• Updating management reporting and financial models.

• Preparing monthly reporting materials and presentations.

• Assisting with board and investor reporting.

• Continuously improving reporting processes as the number of clinics grows.

The CFO will be heavily involved in the finance function during the early stages, providing training and oversight as the successful candidate develops familiarity with the business.

Acquisitions & Due Diligence

Acquisitions are a core part of Averra's growth strategy, and the Finance Manager will have direct exposure to the acquisition process, including:

• Assisting with financial due diligence on potential dental clinic acquisitions.

• Reviewing historical financial information and underlying clinic performance.

• Preparing and updating clinic valuation models.

• Identifying financial issues, anomalies and areas requiring further investigation.

• Assisting with acquisition recommendations and investment materials.

• Preparing financial analysis and materials for Board approval.

• Supporting financial aspects of transaction completion.

• Assisting with the financial integration of newly acquired clinics following settlement.

Projects & Business Building

As a growing business, there will regularly be projects that sit outside a traditional finance job description. These may include:

• Building or improving financial models.

• Developing new workpapers, reporting templates and processes.

• Onboarding employees and clinics into group systems.

• Supporting systems implementation and automation.

• Testing and improving finance controls.

• Working with clinic teams to resolve finance and payroll matters.

• Helping build scalable processes as the group grows.

• Using AI and automation to make finance processes faster and more effective.

We are looking for someone who enjoys this variety rather than someone who wants to operate within a narrowly defined role.

Experience

We expect the successful candidate will have approximately 5-10 years of relevant experience, although we care more about capability, attitude and trajectory than a specific number of years. Ideally, you will have:

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.

• Strong accounting and financial fundamentals.

• Experience in an accounting firm, ideally including audit, transaction services or a similar discipline.

• Subsequent commercial experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Accountant, Corporate Accountant or similar.

• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

• Experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial controls.

• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to check your own work.

• The ability to move comfortably between detailed transactional work and higher-level financial analysis.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• An interest in technology, AI and automation.

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday 6AM-3PM; Manila Time

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased

• Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace

• Equipment will be provided by the company
