Job summary

Thumbtack is hiring a Customer Success Specialist to support homeowners with service plans via phone, chat, SMS, and email. You will drive revenue through inbound and outbound outreach, resolve inquiries, and maintain customer satisfaction while nurturing long-term relationships.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer service with at least 6 months in sales, preferably within a BPO or shared services setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers by listening to needs and offering best solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of Thumbtack products and home maintenance industry.
• Make 55+ inbound/outbound calls daily to determine solutions and close tasks.
• Build rapport and anticipate customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products or services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries with effective problem solving.
• Follow up with customers via SMS and/or email.
• Maintain high performance metrics: revenue, quality, efficiency, CSAT, NPS.
• Suggest improvements to drive revenue and share trends with the team.
• Make independent decisions with customer and company goals in mind.
• Participate in weekly development sessions and training.
