About the role

Andorra El Nido Leisure Corp is seeking a dedicated and hardworking HK Attendant to join our housekeeping team at our boutique hotel in El Nido, Palawan. This is a full-time position based on-site at our beautiful coastal location. As an HK Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort and aesthetic appeal of our guest accommodations and common areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to ensuring our guests have a memorable and pleasant stay, making this position integral to our operational success and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising all surfaces and fixtures
• Replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, linens and other supplies in a timely and organised manner
• Inspect rooms for any damage, maintenance issues or deficiencies and report them promptly to supervisory staff
• Maintain common areas including corridors, lobbies, staircases and recreational facilities to ensure they remain clean and welcoming
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional supplies or housekeeping services
• Follow all health, safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks
• Report any security concerns or unusual incidents to management immediately

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning-related role, preferably in a hospitality setting such as a hotel, resort or lodge
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 15 kg
• Proficiency in the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, with knowledge of proper sanitation procedures
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues
• Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to adhere to set schedules and shifts
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions and maintain simple records
• Knowledge of English or Filipino is advantageous, though training will be provided on company-specific procedures
