About the role

Global Terminals and Development Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at our facility in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our establishment. This role is essential to the daily operations of our hospitality services and requires someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established housekeeping standards, including changing bed linens, towels and amenities
• Perform thorough bathroom cleaning and sanitation, ensuring all fixtures are spotless and well-stocked with supplies
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors throughout assigned guest rooms and corridors
• Dust furniture, fixtures and décor items, paying careful attention to detail
• Empty rubbish bins and replace with fresh liners, disposing of waste appropriately
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or missing items to the supervisor immediately
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements
• Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment, restocking as needed
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room turnover
• Inspect rooms before and after cleaning to maintain quality standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Hotel Room Attendant or in a similar housekeeping role within the hospitality industry
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistent quality standards
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift and carry items, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned rooms within scheduled timeframes
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals and equipment safety
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance
• Respectful and courteous demeanour towards guests and colleagues
• Basic communication skills in English and/or Filipino
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and standards
• Previous hospitality experience or training in housekeeping standards is preferred
