About the role
MJK Medical & Diagnostic Clinic Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled HIV Proficient Medical Technologist to join our team on a contract or full-time basis. This critical role will be based in Ermita, Manila City Metro Manila and will play a vital part in supporting our pathology/laboratory operations within the healthcare and medical industry.
What you'll be doing
Performing a range of technical and laboratory testing procedures for the detection, diagnosis, and monitoring of HIV infections.
Accurately collecting, processing, and analysing biological specimens to ensure timely and reliable test results.
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all testing activities in compliance with relevant regulations and protocols.
Collaborating with medical professionals to interpret test findings and provide recommendations for patient care.
Proactively troubleshooting equipment and resolving technical issues to ensure the uninterrupted flow of laboratory operations.
Participating in regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in HIV testing methodologies and industry best practices.
What we're looking for
Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License as a Medical Technologist.
Degree in Medical Technology or a related field, with a strong focus on HIV/AIDS diagnostics and pathology.
Minimum of at least 1 year experience as HIV Proficient Medical Technologist, preferably in diagnostic clinics/laboratory, or healthcare setting.
Proven expertise in performing a variety of HIV testing procedures, including ELISA, Western Blot, and molecular testing (and other related procedures).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex test results and make informed decisions.
Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and information management systems.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality in all laboratory work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
