Job summary

ST. RITA MEDICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC CENTER- MAKATI is seeking a Registered Medical Technologist to perform HIV testing, drug screening, and ensure DOH-compliant documentation and safety standards. The role involves rapid HIV screening, specimen handling, and maintaining confidentiality. Fresh graduates are welcome, with DOH and PRC credentials preferred.

You will contribute to quality assurance, organize lab records, attend trainings, and support management with reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• BS Medical Technology graduate.
• Valid PRC License — Registered Medical Technologist (RMT).
• DOH HIV Proficiency Certificate — REQUIRED.
• DOH Drug Testing Analyst (DTA) Certificate — REQUIRED.
• Knowledge of DOH protocols, safety standards, and confidentiality laws (RA 11166).
• Strong English communication skills; organized, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid HIV screening tests using DOH-approved kits.
• Conduct pre-test and post-test counseling and secure consent forms.
• Collect, process, and store specimens properly; refer reactive samples to NRL–SACCL.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate records.
• Receive and verify specimens and Custody and Control Forms (CCF).
• Perform drug screening tests; encode reports in IDTOMIS.
• Maintain chain-of-custody, quality control, and compliance records.
• Organize lab documents, records, and accreditation requirements.
• Prepare reports for DOH and facility management.
• Attend required seminars, training, and quality assurance activities.
