Job summary

Philippine Business For Social Progress, Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform Rapid HIV Testing at DOTS facilities within the assigned area. This project-based role supports HIV and TB programs and requires strong attention to accuracy and reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, a valid MT license, and TB/HIV experience. The position runs until December 31, 2026, with expected collaboration across teams and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and licensed Medical Technologist.
• Experience in TB or HIV field with HIV proficiency training.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid HIV testing in DOTS facilities as assigned or requested by the DOTS facilities/Regional Office.
• Refers reactive cases to NTRL – SACCL.
• Maintain and update record of HIV tested TB cases.
• Prepares and submits accurate and timely reports to CHO, Regional Office, DOH – NEC and PBSP.
• Participates in training, supervision, monitoring and evaluation activities of the TB DOTs and treatment hubs conducted by RO, NTP, NASPCP and PBSP.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor and/or management.
