Job Description

Responsible for facilitating overall traffic and organization within the hemodialysis unit during shifts, acting as a leader in the treatment area, serving as a preceptor for less experienced staff, operating hemodialysis machines from preparation to termination, and ensuring continuity of care through monitoring, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the overall traffic and organization within the hemodialysis unit for the entire shift.
• Acts as a leader in the treatment area during the time of duty.
• Serves as facilitator/preceptor to less experienced staff in the facility.
• Operates hemodialysis machines, including preparation and terminating HD procedures when necessary.
• Assures continuity of care to clients by monitoring, documentation, and communication with all members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a license.
• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of hemodialysis experience.
• New board passers encouraged to apply and willing to be trained.
• Willing to start immediately.
