Job summary

Snapscale is seeking a Healthcare Virtual Assistant (HVA) to support a US-based Direct Primary Care practice. You will manage referrals from start to finish, handle prior authorizations, and perform insurance-related administrative tasks.

You will track each item, proactively follow up on delays, update EMR records, verify insurance, and communicate with patients and providers. This onsite role in Davao requires strong English, attention to detail, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Virtual Assistant or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Proactive in identifying delays and unresolved requests.
• Ability to work with EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals from initial assignment through completion.
• Process and coordinate prior authorization requests.
• Follow up with insurance companies, referral partners, and other healthcare organizations as needed.
• Track open referrals and prior authorizations to ensure timely completion.
• Update patient records and administrative information in the EMR.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI and patient information.
• Provide additional healthcare administrative support as assigned.
