CEBU VELEZ GENERAL HOSPITAL, INC. is seeking a Strategy Manager to drive medium- to long-term planning and oversight for the Healthway Cebu Velez network. The role collaborates with the COO and CFO on strategic initiatives, KRAs, and performance monitoring across hospital and shared services.

You will conduct market research, support investment evaluations, and coordinate with external partners to identify growth opportunities and network expansion options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Health or related field; post graduate studies is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience in strategy, project management, business transformation or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder liaison and relationship management.
• Solid data analytics skills with the ability to interpret, visualize and present insights effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau).
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the medium to long-term strategy for the Healthway Cebu Velez General Hospital
• Support the development of annual KRAs for HCVGH and its shared services, including facilitating planning sessions to define KRA metrics, and ensuring alignment of KRAs with HMN and AC Health KRAs
• Gather data and track KRA metrics at the HCVGH level
• Provide support for quarterly board meetings, ManCom, budget presentations, and business reviews, including periodic reporting and data analysis
• Monitor the performance of the support units on their KRAs
• Gather additional data and metrics requested by HMN or AC Health to track HCVGH performance
• Conduct market research on the hospitals and clinics industry, including tracking healthcare trends, emerging new technology/services, and competitor updates
• Conduct research as needed to support business development and other strategic initiatives (e.g. market research, stakeholder interviews, competitive price benchmarking)
• Provide support for Investment Committee presentations, including validating assumptions for business case projections
• Support the HCVGH COO and CFO in evaluating new services or partnership opportunities
• As the need arises from any potential network expansion, develop strategy for HMN Cebu network
• Liaise with external partners e.g. pharmaceutical companies, HMOs and other key external stakeholders
• Support the timely execution of Healthway Cebu Velez Capital Expenditure Plan
• Liaise with critical corporate functions, such as Facilities and Procurement, Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc. to support roll out of new services
• Regular tracking and monitoring of performance of new services, and development of catch-up plans as needed
• Liaise with HMN corporate functions to include CVGH in network-wide initiatives (e.g. Quality, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Transformation and Strategy)
• Ensure coordinated corporate sales efforts with HMC
• Explore potential synergies with HMN and AC Health e.g. Generika in CVGH, IE Medica and Actimed products in CVGH, Referrals
• Support other special projects as identified by HCVGH COO
