Job summary

Maxicare Healthcare Corporation is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support planning, scheduling, and execution of healthcare facility projects. You will assist in developing plans, track milestones, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, clients, and government agencies to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction or facilities management.
• Experience coordinating contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Experience in scheduling, documentation, budget monitoring, and progress reporting.
• Knowledge of construction processes, permits, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Experience with RFIs, change orders, contracts, and project close-out documentation is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, corporate, or facilities environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Project planning: Assist in developing project plans, schedules, timelines, work procedures, and deliverables.
• Scheduling & coordination: Coordinate with contractors, engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Communication liaison: Act as central point between project manager, contractors, clients, and agencies.
• Documentation management: Maintain contracts, permits, plans, RFIs, reports, and turnover-ready records.
• Budget & cost tracking: Monitor expenditures, identify variances, and prepare status reports.
• Site monitoring: Conduct site visits to verify progress and coordinate corrective actions.
• Compliance & quality oversight: Ensure activities meet safety standards, permits, codes, and regulations.
• Progress monitoring & reporting: Track milestones and escalate delays or risks to management.
• Contractor coordination: Manage deliverables, schedules, site access, and documentation.
• Risk & issue coordination: Identify risks and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
• Turnover & close-out: Assist in completion, punch lists, and handover to Facilities Management.
• Other duties: Perform related tasks as assigned.
