Job summary

Intelassist is seeking an IT Systems & Security Administrator to own and manage core technology and security infrastructure. The role covers Halaxy administration, Microsoft 365 management, cybersecurity, and web/domain administration.

You will ensure systems are secure, available, and compliant, with onboarding of staff during initial weeks. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT systems administration, strong independent work skills, and solid communication with non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems administration with ownership of security infra decisions
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune)
• Practical cybersecurity knowledge (endpoint protection, email security, access management)
• Experience with domain/DNS management and web hosting
• Familiarity with Halaxy or practice management software is a plus
• Understanding healthcare data privacy obligations in Australia

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and administer Halaxy for clinical and business operations
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant and security controls (Entra ID, Intune, MFA)
• Manage user accounts, licensing, and access controls
• Monitor security incidents and maintain incident response docs
• Manage website content, domain, hosting, and SSL certificates
• Support onboarding of staff onto Halaxy and systems
• Ensure compliance with Privacy Act and Notifiable Data Breaches scheme
