Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead client initiatives in healthcare IT. You will own end-to-end delivery, coordinate clinical, administrative, and IT teams, and ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.

You will develop project plans, manage risks, provide regular updates to leadership, mentor team members, and uphold audits and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven people management experience.
• Experience with MS Project or ServiceNow.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure/SDLC.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with onshore clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end projects (clinical and non-clinical) for client initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with healthcare regulations and organizational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Drive status update calls with client leadership and act as the primary point of contact.
• Mentor team members and build project management capabilities within the team.
• Comply with company policies and directives related to employment terms and work arrangement.
