Job summary

Optum Philippines is seeking an experienced IT project manager to lead end-to-end healthcare client initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Manage scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed plans while aligning with healthcare regulations and organizational goals.

You will mentor team members and coordinate with clinical, administrative, and IT groups, providing regular status updates, audit-ready documentation, and effective stakeholder communication across the project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with MS Project or ServiceNow.
• Proven people management experience.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure/SDLC.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with onshore clients.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end projects (clinical and non-clinical) for client initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with healthcare regulations and organizational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Drive status update calls with client leadership and act as the primary point of contact.
• Mentor team members and build project management capabilities within the team.
• Comply with terms of employment contract and company policies.
