Job summary

Marikina Valley Medical Center is seeking a Facilities & Services Manager to lead hospital buildings, infrastructure, and support services in Metro Manila. You will supervise environmental cleaning, maintenance, waste management and on-site construction projects.

Role demands civil engineering expertise, senior management experience, budget oversight, and strong leadership to ensure compliant, safe, and continuous hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Licensed and experienced Civil Engineer.
• Proven background in construction project supervision, structural maintenance, or facilities engineering (hospital/healthcare facility experience preferred).
• 3 years of experience in Senior Management leadership or its equivalent.
• Strong leadership, project management, budget administration, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day operational leadership for the Facilities Management Department, aligning departmental objectives with the hospital's mission, vision, and clinical goals.
• Develop, implement, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality assurance frameworks, and preventative maintenance programs to optimize facility reliability.
• Oversee departmental workforce administration, including organizational structuring, manpower planning, recruitment, performance evaluations, employee regularization, and disciplinary actions.
