Job summary

Colliers International Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Engineering Manager to oversee daily operation and maintenance of all building systems in a high-end property in Metro Manila.

You will lead the engineering and maintenance team, coordinate contractors, and ensure systems reliability. The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, a valid license, and at least 5 years in facilities management with 2–3 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed/Registered Engineer with valid professional license.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering and facilities management.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of building MEP systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing contractors and budgets.
• Willingness to work on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify maintenance issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns.
• Establish and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the engineering and maintenance team.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Conduct coaching, training, and evaluations.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with building, fire safety, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Supervise contractors, suppliers, and external providers.
• Prepare and monitor the engineering and maintenance budget.
