Job summary

Chong Hua Hospital in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to support patient billing and ensure accurate invoicing according to data and documents. You will assist reviewing and updating statements, scanning documents to accounts, and following up on correspondence.

The role requires a finance/accounting background, basic Microsoft Office skills, and strong organizational and English communication abilities; knowledge of Visayan/Tagalog languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or any business-related course with accounting units.
• At least one (1) year of related work experience is an advantage, but not required.
• Knowledge of medical billing & collection practices and other third party operating procedures is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office application.
• Must be well organized and detail–oriented.
• Proficient English communication skills, both oral and written; Visayan/Tagalog language helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in managing patient billing and ensuring procedures are billed according to matching systems data/documents.
• Review and update client statements as necessary; scan documents to patient accounts.
• Review correspondence and follow up as needed; coordinate with applicable departments.
