Job summary

UNICEF Philippines is seeking a Health Officer to strengthen child health in the Philippines. The role covers planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health programmes focusing on non-immunization work, including NCDs and IMCI, in collaboration with government and partners.

Under the Immunization Specialist, you will translate evidence into practical and sustainable results, build partnerships, and contribute to advocacy and resource mobilization to improve health outcomes for

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in Public Health or related field.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in Health or Health and Nutrition.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of another UN language or local language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate health programmes focusing on non-immunization work in children and women.
• Collaborate closely with government counterparts, civil society, UN agencies, donors and partners.
• Translate evidence and priorities into practical, sustainable results and support advocacy and resource mobilization.
