Job summary

Devex Incorporated in the Philippines seeks a licensed Geodetic Engineer with at least 5 years of surveying experience to lead and supervise surveying activities on vertical and horizontal projects.

The role requires proficiency in surveying procedures, instrumentation, software, and report preparation; candidates must be proactive, well-organized, able to multitask, and willing to travel to site locations nationwide. This full-time position may involve site visits across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering is required.
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer is required.
• Minimum 5 years of surveying experience on vertical and horizontal projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surveying requirements with project managers for all projects.
• Assign surveying team for each project.
• Monitor surveying activities and visit project sites regularly.
• Counter-check and certify survey reports; sign and seal as needed.
• Monitor calibration and condition of surveying equipment; ensure calibration on a regular basis.
• Suggest improvements to line & grade division systems.

QUALIFICATION

1. Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering.

2. Must be a Licensed Geodetic Engineer.

3. Must have a minimum experience of 5 years in surveying works both in vertical and Horizontal projects.

4. Must be proficient and knowledgeable in all surveying procedures.

5. Must be proficient and knowledgeable in operating different surveying instruments

6. Must be proficient and knowledgeable in different surveying software

7. Must be able to prepare and interpret technical reports.

8. Must be pro-active and must have an initiative.

9. must be well-organized

10. must be a multi-tasker and can work efficiently under pressure.

11. must be willing to do site visits anywhere in the Philippines as may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinates with the project managers for the surveying requirements of all projects.
2. Assigns the surveying team for each project.
3. Monitors the surveying activities in each project. Visits all project sites on a regular basis.
4. Counter checks and certifies the correctness of survey reports in each project. Need to sign and seal these both for internal and external purposes as may be required.
5. Monitors the operating condition of all surveying equipment. Facilitates the calibration of all surveying equipment on a regular basis.
6. Recommends to improve / upgrade the line & grade division system.
