Job summary

Active Group in the Philippines seeks a Geodetic Engineer to support field surveys and data processing. The ideal candidate has a B.S Geodetic Engineer and at least one year of survey experience, with strong computer literacy and familiarity with surveying software.

The role involves establishing control, performing topographic and subdivision surveys, measuring areas and distances, and handling survey instruments on site. Driving license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Establish horizontal and vertical control stations.
• Conduct construction, topographic and subdivision surveys.
• Relocate individual lots.
• Prepare base maps and data computations for subdivisions.
• Operate survey instruments (total stations, theodolites, EDM, transit).
• Perform fieldwork to ensure contract terms are met.

Qualifications

• Must be B.S Geodetic Engineer graduate
• With at least one (1) year experience in survey works
• Must be computer literate Preferably with valid professional driver’s license, but not required

Responsibilities

• Establish horizontal and vertical control stations
• Conducts construction, topographic and subdivision surveys
• Relocates individual lots
• Conducts profile leveling, laying out structures and road
• Computes / plots control stations / points elevations
• Prepares and compute lot data computation of the subdivision into parcels of predetermined shape and size
• Calculates areas, distances and angles or directions
• Prepares base maps
• Prepares and compute, traverse, solar and old surveys
• Operates survey instruments: transit, theodolites, automatic level / laser, Electronic distance meter, Geodetic total station
• Executes solar and stellar observations
• Responsible for survey equipment’s assigned
• Execute actual fieldwork on the projects which is under contract to check adherence to terms of contract
• May perform other function
